Basic Internet Skills For Newbies
There was a Guerrilla Business Intensive held last month but I wasn’t able to attend due to some last minute meetings that I had to attend to. My cousin proceeded on to attend the event though she said that she did not learn much from the event because she wasn’t feeling well during the event.
Fortunately, after the GBI event, there were a few attendees that have got together and formed a business network to leverage off one another’s skills and I was privileged to attend one of this meetings yesterday.
The people that we met in the group were all very friendly and nice including a guy named Roger Loh, whom I have got to know of during my recent year of internet marketing endeavor. Roger is an expert in the internet marketing arena and he is right now offering a course of basic internet skills for individuals who want to know how to start an online business, which you can see it on the following website:
http://www.eurecamarketing.com/basicinternetskills
How I wish I had known Roger earlier because he is offering the basic internet skills workshop at a very reasonable price. I have paid thousands to attend my first internet marketing boot camp but Roger is only charging a couple of hundreds of dollars for his workshop.
Roger has attended numerous internet marketing events and we both felt that most of the events very pricey and sometimes even overpriced and the value offered is not worth the money. Some of the events’ purpose are mainly to sell you a more expensive course and I must admit that we both felt ripped off.
If you have the time and would like to start learning some basic internet skills that could kick start your business, regardless if it is online or offline, I would strongly encourage you to make some time and effort to invest in the Basic Internet Skills workshop held by Roger on 26th - 27th July.

How To Be Successful Like Facebook
When Facebook was launched, there were a lot of doubts if it will be successful since there are already so many social network sites like Friendster, MySpace, Hi5 and etc. However, within a short period of time, the amount of traffic that were flocking to Facebook was much more than the Google home page.
How did they do it?
It was simply the easy addition of friends’ and relatives’ email from an add in all names and email address feature that Facebook has.
Recently, I found this script that can allow people to add in all of their friends’ and relatives’ name and email addresses within just a few steps instead of the old tell a friend script where the names and email addresses have to be added manually.
With this new script, the visitor can choose to add in all of their friends contacts in Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, AOL and etc. and it will automatically add it in.
Check out the website:

PS. The website above is just using a very simple redirect php script where you do not have to purchase any link cloaking program. I have written this in my blog on 20th June. Check it out.

In summary, what I have learned from the book is that: Continue Reading >>

Everyday Enlightenment by Dan Millman
Finally, after about a month with all the distractions, I have finished reading Everyday Enlightenment by Dan Millman. This is really a fantastic book where I nearly highlighted the whole book while reading it because it is fill with so many gold nuggets of information that one can use in his everyday life.
What impresses me is the way Dan Millman puts across his message is so much different from those books that I have read where most of them recommend surpresses whatever negative thoughts you come across but for this, Dan recommends to accept whatever thoughts one have but not to let the thoughts affect you.
Harv Eker did say that his Enlightened Warrior Training Camp is based on the book from Dan Millman’s Way Of the Peaceful Warrior and looking at how this book by Dan Millman has impacted me, I think I will sign up for the Enlightened Warrior Training Camp by Harv and his team held in October in Malaysia.
Are there any fantastic book that you have read recently that impacted you profoundly?

Passion
It is sometimes sad when a person is just slogging away at a job providing for his or her family when what they are doing at work is not something they enjoy or love doing.
I tell this to my friends all the time:
“If you like your job but hate the money that comes with the job, it is a never ending struggle. If you hate the job but love the money that comes with the job, it is a never ending sacrifice.”
Most of us have come to a crossroads wondering what is it that we would like to do in this life and we have often hear people saying about finding your passion. I have to admit this, it is really not that easy for someone who has been stuck with a job for some time to find their passion.
One good examples is my wife.
She has resigned from her job for more than 3 years now so that she can spend more time with my daughter and since 2005 till now, I have told her to find something to do because it is not going to do her good if she will just to stay home and do nothing.
I have always asked her to find out what her passion is but the whole trouble is that she doesn’t even know and till date, she has not managed to find anything that she could do wholeheartedly.
I was reading a book by Dan Millman titled “Everyday Enlightenment” and like what I have posted previously, it is really one great book that you should read. In one of the chapters under “Manage Your Money”, he says:
“If I had enough money to live on for the rest of my life, what would I do with my time? When you have the answer, find work in that area if you can.”
For me, I am currently marketing nutritional supplements through different marketing activities and I am passionate about marketing products and that is why this whole blog is dedicated to marketing. I love marketing products that I know is going to help people make their lives better.
Like what Ted Nicholas says in his new book Billion Dollar Marketing Secrets:
“I could hire every single skill necessary to succeed except the one which was the real key to success - Marketing!”
So, what is your passion and what is it that you enjoy doing that you do not mind doing it for free? If you can combine what you are passionate about with marketing ideas, the possibilities are immense and abundant!

Is It Necessary To Buy Power Link Generator Or My Link Guard?
Written a post the other day on cloaking your link with either Power Link Generator or My Link Guard so that you can hide all the ugly affiliate links that is in one way preventing people from clicking on it.
I have found a way that you can cloak your affiliate link without costing a single cent and most of the professionals are doing it and if you would like to know how, drop me an email to my opt in list and I will be glad to guide you along:
eurecamarketing@getresponse.com
To be honest with you, if I will to just promote the Power Link Generator, I will be able to make more money instead but I believe nowadays that people should know more about things that they can use for free especially during the start up phase of their business.

A Book You Must Read
Have you ever read a book and you felt that this is going to be a great book that you will enjoy?
I had a couple of times and the following are the books that I enjoyed so much, which I finished reading the book in a shorter than usual time needed:
- Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker
- The Greatest Salesman In The World by Og Mandino
- The Success Principles by Jack Canfield
The new addition is Everyday Enlightenment by Dan Millman. It is really fantastic, I have just finished reading the first chapter and I am already astonished of how Dan puts his words across in the book and I believe this is going to be another great book I would recommend to my friends.
I got another of his book Way Of The Peaceful Warrior and according to what I understand, this was the book that Harv has used to start his warrior camp on. I believe it is going to be interesting and am looking forward to what I can benefit from the book first and the warrior camp later.
All the best!

Cloaking your affiliate link
Cloaking your affiliate link is to disguise the way your link looks and makes it to look a bit more professional. There have been numerous statistics to show that links with a lot of numbers, symbols or unrecognized words have a lesser chance of being clicked, like for instance:
http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-2978957-1174939″ target=”_top
https://paydotcom.com/r/72/beccaong/1343108/
http://www.MyLinkGuard.com/protect/?site=16410
Would you click on above links? I do not know, I may or may not.
I have found 2 programs right now that could cloak the links makes it look more professional. One is free but there will be a header that ask the visitor to click to go to another site while the other cost $97 and it will direct you to the web page that you want your visitors to visit.
Recently, I am promoting a web hosting server and I have used both programs to cloak the link, take a look:
http://www.eurecamarketing.com/recommends/powwebhosting
http://www.eurecamarketing.com/recommends/powweb.html
Meanwhile, you can take a look at both of the programs that helps to cloak your affiliate link. Whatever it is, I felt that you should invest in either ones since it looks much more professional than those ugly links.

Must Have Wordpress Plugin
While looking for plug-ins today for my wordpress blogs and chance upon Max Blog Press. I must admit that the plug-ins in the blogs are really fantastic as it can really help those that are new to blogging to optimize their blogs.
One of the the plug in is a widget to be used to promote DealDotCom products.
According to the blog posted, each day DealDotCom have only one product for sale. It gets sold at insanely low price and there are limited numbers of copies available. That product will only be available until it sells out or until the midnight after that it will be pulled off and start selling a new product.
One of the biggest secret of closing a sale every time is to offer a KILLER DEAL which a prospect simply can’t refuse. If you can do this every time then it’s almost sure that you can close the sale each and every time and the solution is found at DealDotCom.
This is just one of the plug-ins out of the total 7 plug-ins I have downloaded and I must admit it is really good. Check it out, all the plug-ins are free.

Beware of what you become in pursuit of what you want
Life is a balance. As what Jim Rohn always say, opposites are in conflict and we are in the middle.
What does it mean?
In life, we always have a balance of everything like the law of duality where T. Harv Eker puts it. We have black and white; right and left; up and down; good and bad; yin and yang and so on and I guess it is the same for our pursuit of a successful journey.
Success is a journey, not a destination and in the success journey, do most of us ask ourselves if we are putting things in the right balance like a balance of our work and family? Are we compromising on any of which? Too much time for the family and nothing on the work or vice versa? Neither is good but eventually, we have to ask ourselves what are our values and what is it that we are working so hard for?
If we are working so hard for the family and in the end, we got what we deemed as a successful life and lost the family, is it worth it? I always like to quote Jim Rohn where he says:
“Beware of what you become in pursuit of what you want. Some things I went for in the beginning cost me too much! Had I know what it cost me, I would never have paid!”
Different people perceive differently. For me, I do not want to sacrifice the love and warmth of my family in pursuit of what I want. What about you? Are you stuck in the position of pursuing of what you want and in the end may cost you too much? If it is, should it be something to re-look into before it is too late?
